Job Description

Who You Are

A team-member who will be a good fit will...

Embrace the following ideas

(1) want to feel connected to a vision, (2) are excited about exploring their own ideas and getting support for their personal therapeutic passions within our practice, (3) love the independence of private practice but want the support of a team, and (4) who want to be a long-term contributor to building an attachment-focused group practice.

Be experienced in doing deep, therapeutic work with clients
Our practice is committed to doing deep, therapeutic work with clients (i.e. no CBT or simple worksheets as solutions). As such, we currently focus our main group modality on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Our current openings are for therapists trained-in or interested in learning EFT.

Have training in EFT or other methods

Training or certification in other methods in addition to EFT is welcome as we’re interested in incorporating other exceptional modalities such as IFS (Inner Family Systems), AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), SE (Somatic Experiencing), or another similar treatment modal.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Valid and appropriate licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar licensure with one of the following states: Colorado or Texas, and willingness to get licensed in more states

  • At least 2+ years of experience providing therapy services with adolescent and/or adult clients post masters degree graduation

  • Strong clinical skills

  • Excellent ability to work both independently and cooperatively as a team member

  • Interest and willingness to get extensively trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy. Either already have advanced training or have a willingness to complete the training

Desired Qualifications

  • Desire to learn best business practices and therapeutic practices

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Commitment to on-going personal and professional development

  • Desire to complete EFT master courses - EFIT, EFFT and ongoing EFT supervision with a certified EFT supervisor

  • Team players who are committed to being part of something bigger than themselves, with a vision and passion for the whole team

  • While most referrals will be provided for you, we desire team members who are committed to on-going client referral nurturing, business strategy, follow-through and revenue generation. Therapists who have waitlists and/or highly-regarded and sought-after are those who build a name for themselves (we'll help you learn how!)

Compensation

We offer a base pay rate (70% you / 30% us, split) to start, as well as rate increases for the following:

  • EFT certification and other extensive training or certifications in desired modalities (IFS, AEDP, EMDR, SE, etc)

  • Loyalty raise after one year of working with Sagely Counseling, and continued raises for being on our team over future years

  • Potential future leadership positions
